this year the purley fireworks will be held on sunday 9th november 2008 and as usual at the royal russel school in coombe lane, croydon, as it has done for the past 14 years. the spectacular fireworks and bonfire will again be accompanied by a fun fair and catering which makes it a full evening of entertainment.

we spend around £4500.00 on fireworks and always have a great attendance with lots of people returning year after year. on average we raise in excess of £8000.00. All of this is then put back into the community to support local charities, some of whom cannot survive unless organisations such as ourselves with the great support of our community donate to them.

this event is run with the help of Royal Russel School, 41 Club, Venture Scouts, Red Cross and the Police.
