Graeme
has been in table since 2001, shortly after moving to the area. “I
have made a great group of friends through Table, which has helped
me to settle in the area. I particularly enjoy the social aspect
of Table, and feel that helping to raise money for local causes is
very worthwhile. I would encourage any one to give Table a try!”

Hey
guy's, I have been a member of Round Table since 2006 and I am table
secetary. I always thought Round Table was full of old boring men,
with nothing better to do, but since I have joined I dont think I
have ever laughed so much and have honestly made such a great group
of friends. It is great to have regular time in my social life, where
I can meet up, have a meal (and usually a few too many beers) and
at the same time, put something back to the community with the charity
work that we enjoy doing!!!

‘I
joined Round Table as a means to enjoy a rich social life for myself
and my family. Contributing back to the community whilst having a
great time is very rewarding. I wish I had joined years ago!’

Andrew
has been a member of Caterham Round Table for over 15 years. "I
get a great buzz with helping put on events like the fireworks, and
the winter Balls which we have now been doing for 10 years. It is
really satisfying to see 600 people at an ball having a great time
and you know that the £1,000's raised will go straight back
in the community where you live and work. That gives me a great feeling
and I have made some really good friends while doing this."

I Joined Coulsdon and Purley Round Table 167 in 1989 which sadly closed their doors in 2007 and so I joined Caterham and District 274. I enjoy the events and fundraising and still organise the Coulsdon and Purley Fireworks Event at Royal Russell School and have done for the past 4 out of the 15 years we have been holding it. Round Table has introduced me to a great circle of friends locally Nationally and Internationally, and at the same time raising thousands of pounds for local charities.
